Tynes quarry produces Upper Devonian slate in smooth, fine layers, making superb building facing stone, Cornish walling and hedging, slate facing and paving used in many high profile projects around Cornwall and further afield.

Our stone has fabulous aesthetics due to its natural horizontal cleavage, with colours ranging from green-grey to warm hues of rustic brown it is well adapted to suit both modern and traditional uses.
